The weekend

I've been walking through door
I've been sleeping in halls
With no floors

I find it so hard to say
I've been needing you more
So much more

I want you to say
You
You will
Be mine

I want you to say

When I first saw this photo on facebook, I don't even remember being in it!

On Saturday, I made a spontaneous decision to attend Boulevard on its closing night. Packed as it was, I skipped the queue and joined in the VIP/table line. My night was rather uneventful, fueled by 3 red bulls prior to entering the club. I hit an all time low of boredom! I think we are all saving ourselves for the Fix. Ray from primary school, Phelan from high school, Dean from university and Michael from church. Writing another chapter in the adventures of 2008.

Sunday was great! I played tennis and 'street' soccer at one the colleges next to Melbourne University. The courts are surrounded by gardens and an old library. Picturesque, as I've said before. My fitness levels are not at their prime and I was physically exhausted after 5-10 minutes of soccer. I was laying on the court, the sun in my eyes and clear sky as a backdrop. And this feeling; body sweating, heart beating quickly and sore muscles, was reminiscent of high school lunch times. Pushing the endurance of my body to the maximum and collapsing on the grass to feel the wind blowing, cooling down. It is a feeling which I miss. Another lazy, Sunday afternoon.

The mid semester break is fast approaching. I'm trying to finish my audit assignment which is due on Friday afternoon.

And on Thursday, I hope my plan to go the Melbourne Show goes ahead! Fingers crossed!
