Tomorrow, my church of the last four years is turning 6 years old! The youth group have a presentation consisting of a semi-original song and the unveiling of a 'painting' which reveals the words, 'reach for our vision'. A well thought idea. Tennis may very well be on the agenda after lunch as well.
I will be seeing Jason Mraz on Tuesday. I have yet to collect my tickets but once i do, the excitement will extend from head to toe! His new album is currently on repeat in real player, as I am trying to get to know the songs for which he will be promoting on the night. It is very upbeat, jazzy and feel good music. I've also learnt a few of his songs on guitar. I'm Yours. Lucky. Make it mine. And I'm hoping he will play his classics.
My days are much more quiet. I seldom go out on Friday or Saturday nights anymore, let alone anywhere else. I enjoy the maccas runs, chats over hot chocolate or a catch up dinner more than anything now. I never knew you can say so much in your car, just outside someone's home.
I am also starting to read again. I was opting to borrow Casablanca tonight but the Olympics are on. Not to say I'm interested in watching the games but the lounge room wouldn't be available. Also recently I moved my mum's Cd player into my room and I am listening to the Nat King Cole / Frank Sinatra CDs i bought for $5.00 at Kmart, with over 60 songs. It puts me to sleep.
