Sunday night fun

Death Cab for Cutie was awesome!

I came with no expectations at all. An Horse opened for them and I was just hmm all the way through their songs. The crowd seemed to like it. But once the main act came on stage, they were electric. Great stage presence! Their songs are great live! And I was in the 3rd row from front too.

They were set to come to play on stage at 10.15pm but the doors opened at 8pm. We waited in line from 7pm. My legs cramped up over the course of the night because I was standing for five hours straight, literally. I didn't have a decent lunch because I spend the whole day studying which kind of paid off for my mid semester today. So by the time the gig finished, my ears were ringing and my head spinning. I was remember I was in the car, turned the engine on and just sat there in my seat frozen in time. Ange must have thought, so when are we going home?

Well, I didn't go home straight away. Instead we went to get food because I really needed it! Did a kebab run on Sunday night. A very spontaneous night indeed. Drove to my usual spot on the hill overlooking the city. Too bad it was a Sunday night and not a weekday. It would have been more pretty. And now there's a metal bracket that blocks our view. Talked for ages... Conversation could have went on and on and on but it was 2am and I had to send her home. Not to mention I needed to get rest for my mid semester.

But it was an awesome night! Hands down.
